ACT 1:8 NIV: BUT YOU WILL RECEIVE POWER WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES ON YOU; AND YOU WILL BE MY WITNESSES IN JERUSALEM, AND IN ALL JUDEA AND SAMARIA, AND TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH.
The word ‘witness’ in Acts 1:8 is the producer of proofs
So when the Holy Ghost comes upon you, you are meant to become a producer of proofs
Impact requires power
Power is a non-negotiable requirement for the production of proofs
Power is the sponsor of proofs
The scarcity of power is the scarcity of proofs
To connect power is to connect proofs
THE EFFECTS OF POWER:
1. Power makes things work
Power is the ability to do work
Anywhere power is released, things work
Power is the fuel for workability
2. Power changes the position and situation of things
Powerlessness is the reason for bankruptcy of change
Don’t ever conclude on a person who is in touch with God because things can change at any second
3. Power is required for the conquest of resistance and opposition
4. Power is needed for the enforcement of Divine order
For there to be peace, serenity and tranquility in what you do, power is needed
5. Power is the trigger for motion (Acts 10:38)
The Presence of God is the secret of power (Acts 10:38)
Our greatest asset is the Presence of God
Whatever keeps you with God keeps you in power and if it keeps you in power, it keeps you in proofs
PRAYER: ‘Lord, bring me close to Yourself’
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
- Whatever is distracting your worship of God, that distraction is arrested!
- Before this day is over, you will receive a testimony that will confirm that something dead in your life is returned back to life!
- That reproach is over! Before this conference is over, you shall testify!
- Wherever they are mocking your going to church and mocking your service of God, that mockery is over!
- The embargo is lifted! Whatever the devil said you should not do, it is done!
- Anything that has put your life, and destiny under pressure, after this conference, you will look for it, you will not find it!
