TEXT: MARK 16:17
¹⁷ And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
¹⁸ They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

The power of God is the strength and ability of God to do thing, it is the embeddlement of all of God mightiness. 
looking at the world we are today we all need the power of God to overcome.

FACTS ABOUT THE POWER OF GOD

** The Holy Ghost in the life of a person is the one who brings The Power Of God (act 1 :8). so if you are void of The Spirit of God then you are also void of the Power Of God.
** The power of God is the strength of God (it was on this account that the bible says we can do all things through christ who strengthens us, because if the power of God is the strength of God the it is also the ability of God and all the things Our GOD does is through His ability so if we have the Power we can as well become unlimited.
** The power of God is that which Help us to fight the battles of life.
** The power of God helps us in soul winning; in the book of acts 2 :14-end the bible recorded the great numbers of souls that was won, but let me draw you back a little, do you realize that when Jesus was with His disciples, He sent them out when they came back they gave alot of testimony but there was nothing like soul winning because The Holy Ghost who bring power to save was not around. so the power of God facilitate soul winning.
** The power of God drives away fear; Peter was an apostle of God and was with THE LORD JESUS through out the days of Jesus life BUT still denied Jesus. But the same Peter who denied Jesus, on the day The Power of God came on HIM preach to those he was afraid of and denied his master. So the power of GOD drives away fear.
** The power of God helps us to stand for our faith and to bear witness of The Lord Jesus.( the apostle bear witness to Him without fear.
** The power of God makes us untouchable(psalm 105:15 it says touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm.) and to be anointed by God is also to be empowered by Him.
** The power of God helps us to understand the scripture.

** THE POWER OF GOD IS ACCESSIBLE BY ALL(That is it is meant for everybody.)

HINDRANCES TO THE POWER OF GOD
1. SIN (john 14:27). The promise of the power of God is for the believers.
2. MINDSET( some peoples mindset prevent them from possessing the power of God. for instance there are people who believe the power of God is meant for only Pastors.)
3. The unwillingness to receive Him. 
4. Not playing our part by applying the keys.

1. PURITY (MARK 16:17, 2 CORIN 6:7, MATT 7:6 ; 15:26.)
