RSV: 1. I will take my stand to watch, and stand myself on the tower, and look forth to see what he will say to me, and what i answer concerning my complaint.
2. The Lord answered me "write the vision; make it plain upon tablet, that he may run who reads it.


SERVICE OBJECTIVE:
• Understanding operations of vision.

THINGS TO NOTE:
• Vision is the secret of the future
• Vision is also key to Divine manifestation in life.

THE NATURE OF VISION:
1. Vision is deliberate, positive, profitable Scriptural imagination (Eph. 3:20)
• Vision is the positive use of the imagination
• Vision is taking the Scripture to form images
2. Vision is pictorial thinking or meditation (Eph. 3:20)
• Vision is thinking in pictures instead of thinking in words
3. Vision is impacting visibility unto invisibility (Gen. 30:37-39)
• Vision is creative thinking or reasoning
• If you see it, you can cease it; if you can picture it, you capture it
4. Vision is spiritual and mental eyesight (John 9:1-7; Eph. 1:17-18)
• Vision is the capacity to see what the natural eye can’t see

THE ROOT OF VISION:
1. The Scriptures (Hab. 2:1)
• The deeper your root in the Word of God, the larger your vision in life and destiny
2. Revelation from the Spirit (Gen. 37:5-6; 31:10-13)
3. Positive, Godly inspiration (Lam. 3:51a; Judg. 7:17)
• Not to be inspired is to be expired
• Never play your role at your best without a role model
• Nothing helps imagination like observation
4. Divinely originated passion and burden (Neh. 1:1-4; 1 Sam. 17:26-29)
• Need does not equal vision, God must provoke it

COUNSEL:
1. Ensure that you run with a vision and not with ambition
• Ambition is what a person wants to achieve in life with or without God consent; Vision is God given plan and purpose
2. Ensure that your greatest vision is to look like Christ and draw people to Christ (Acts 11:26)
